Site : AgeCare River View (603 Prospect Drive Southwest, Medicine Hat, AB)

Schedule : Full Time, 12-hour shifts (Day or Night)

Pay Rate : $18.50 / hour

Employment Type : Full Time

Averaging Agreement : Yes (12-hour shifts)

Overview

As a Healthcare Security Guard at AgeCare River View , you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position involves proactive patrols, emergency response, and close collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure safety and security across the facility.

Each shift provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting by supporting the well-being of vulnerable individuals and helping maintain calm and order during high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility premises to ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and calls for assistance
• Support healthcare personnel during challenging or high-pressure situations
• Maintain accurate incident documentation and detailed security reports
• Provide professional customer service while enforcing safety and security protocols
