We’ve opened a role in our Guelph office for a talented, entrepreneurial Senior Transportation Engineer to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s Civil group.

Your Role as a Senior Transportation Engineer :

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As a Senior Transportation Engineer, your role will include :

Lead geometric roadway design and related transportation engineering from feasibility to IFC, including : Urban and rural roadway alignments (horizontal / vertical), cross sections, and corridor layouts.

Intersection and roundabout conceptual & detailed design, including sight distance, channelization, auxiliary lanes, and access management.

Active transportation integration (cycling and pedestrian facilities) within new and retrofit corridors.

Traffic operations analysis and mitigation concepts using Synchro / SIDRA to inform design decisions.

Leveraging core tools including : Civil 3D

AutoCAD / MicroStation / OpenRoads

Synchro / SIDRA

AutoTurn

VBA Scripting
