Travel Nurse - Community Health RN

The work you will do :
Work in a team atmosphere within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to pre-natal and adult patients for trauma and primary care, including delivery of newborns, treating minor acute illnesses and injuries, and conducting general treatment clinics
Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan
Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice

Who You Are :
You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing
You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the province or territory you wish to work
You meet the required work experience (ER / Acute / Critical Care / ICU / Remote or isolated community experience) of the province or Territory you wish to work in (1500 to 3000 hours depending on location)
Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview

Experience
Required
3000 hours) two (2) years full-time within the past five (5) years in acute / critical care nursing activities in the : Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, or in an acute care setting OR (1500 hours) one (1) year full-time within the past five (5) years working in remote, isolated or semi-isolated communities as a Community Health Nurse
