Job description

Position: General Labourer - Hearst Sawmill.
Location: Hearst, ON.

Responsibilities:
  • Work within a team to perform a variety of manual duties all over the mill, specifically in the entry level jobs.
  • Work safely, in compliance with all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • You need to be safety-conscious, energetic, and able to understand your role in our team.
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that contributes to a culturally safe, inclusive and respectful workplace.

Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
  • Sawmill experience is an asset.
  • Language: Bilingualism is an asset (French and English).

Responsabilités:
  • Travailler au sein d’une équipe pour effectuer diverses tâches manuelles dans l’ensemble de l’usine, en particulier pour les postes de débutants.
  • Travailler en toute sécurité, dans le respect de toutes les procédures opérationnelles standard (POS) de l’entreprise, des politiques, des procédures et de la législation pertinente.
  • Vous devez être soucieux de la sécurité, énergique et capable de comprendre votre rôle au sein de notre équipe.
  • Se comporter de manière à contribuer à un lieu de travail culturellement sûr, inclusif et respectueux.

Exigences:
  • Formation : Diplôme d’études secondaires ou expérience équivalente.
  • Une expérience en scierie est un atout.
  • Langue : Le bilinguisme est un atout (français et anglais).
