Job description
MaxSys Staffing & Consulting will not sponsor individuals for employment visas. Only Candidates authorized to work in Canada will be contacted.We are currently recruiting for a night shift warehouse Gate Keeper to join one of Canada’s leading transportation outfits in the Greater Moncton Area. If you are results driven, goal oriented and thrive on being challenged in your daily activities, we would love to meet you!Our client is offering a full time role within a positive and supportive working environment, offering continuous learning and ample room for growth for those who excel within the establishment.Some details about this role include, but are not limited to:
  • This position is a full time night shift position running from 7:00pm-7:00am
  • Hourly wage will be $18.00/h (including the night shift premium)
  • Obtain missing or correct data when necessary, after evaluating billing documents and other data for accuracy and completion
  • Record incoming/ outgoing freight
  • Dispatching trucks
  • Receiving inbound calls
  • Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Audit and close units within the operations system
Successful candidates for this role will have the following attributes:
  • Previous experience within Transportation Industry would be considered an asset, but not required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite, ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems
  • Strong English language skills
  • Ability to work individually in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Preserve a safe and clean work area by complying with rules and regulations that have been established
  • Attention to detail; able to accurately read labels, codes and long numbers in small print
  • Aptitude to stay organized while working well with a team

Required:
  • Reliable transportation as public transportation is not always available
  • Clean criminal record check
  • CSA approved steel toe boots
  • Hi Vis Safety Vest
