SUMMARY OF POSITION
Our NetSuite administrator is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our NetSuite ERP system, ensuring smooth workflow by customizing user roles, creating dashboards, managing system access, troubleshooting issues, and adapting the platform to align with GFD’s business processes. This role reports to the Director, Digital Transformation. Please note this is a hybrid role– occasionally working from the office in Oakville.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the NetSuite system, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Configure and customize NetSuite modules, including financials to align with business processes.
- Develop and maintain custom objects, scripts, and workflows to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and streamline operations.
- Manage third party integrations, setup, and troubleshooting to facilitate smooth data exchange with customers and suppliers.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced saved searches and custom reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement system enhancements, and optimize business processes.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with NetSuite updates, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Map current business processes to NetSuite best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of NetSuite enhancements and process improvements.
- Work with external development teams to design, test and launch new custom system modules

5 years of proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or a NetSuite Consultant with exposure to the finance / banking industryIn-depth knowledge of NetSuite core functionalities, including financials, and EDI.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions.Experience working with third-party NetSuite modulesAbility to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Experience in developing and implementing NetSuite workflows to optimize business processes.Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot NetSuite scripts to identify and resolve issues.Proven track record in leading or participating in NetSuite implementations or subsidiary setupsProficiency in handling large data sets and performing bulk updates and changesDesired certifications and technical requirements :
