We are seeking an organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to ensure all orders are released on time, support communication between Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Drivers, and 3rd‑party partners, and help maintain smooth workflow across the CDC. This role is key to ensuring timely order processing, delivery coordination, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing & Workflow Coordination

  • Drop all CDC orders promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor order volume (“cuts on the floor”) and notify the CDC Manager when capacity is reached.
  • Review the Open Pick Report daily and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Ensure pickup orders, same‑day rush orders, and branch transfers are dropped on time.
  • Review WT line counts and work with Purchasing to avoid exceeding daily limits.
  • Confirm that transfers are correctly managed as lotted or non‑lotted items.

Issue Resolution & Communication

  • Re‑allocate orders to optimal lots using SX and TWL when errors are identified.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for driver‑related issues (missing info, unreachable contacts, etc.).
  • Provide ETA updates for sales orders when requested by the Sales team.
  • Collaborate with 3rd‑party partners to resolve delivery issues or changes.
  • Assist in answering Ontario CDC emails and support general problem‑solving.
  • Operational Support

  • Support the Operations Supervisor in investigating inventory issues.
  • Cover Ops Coordinator responsibilities during periods of absence.
  • Assist with printing and managing all label inventory.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support CDC operations.
  • Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or order management is an asset.
  • Comfortable working with systems such as SX, TWL, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Able to work collaboratively with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Drivers, and partners.
