Recruiting on behalf of one of our fastest growing companies, a media company that is looking for a Finance Manager. This role will involve you with plant level accounting, while directing the day-to-day activities of the finance team.

What you will be doing

• Plant accounting, prepare and review of general ledger, closing process, to include sales, cost of sales, overhead expenses, & profit
• Month-end, & quarterly balance sheet, reconciliation
• Preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, monthly and quarterly
• Assist with year end tax preparation, audit schedules, inventory reporting, purchase flow, & invoicing
• Supervise and oversee the activities of the finance department
• Preparation of financial statements, & investment analysis

What you bring

• Strong knowledge and experience with Accounting practices both financial and cost accounting
• Ability to understand and comply with complex accounting standards
• Demonstrated ability with problem solving and forward thinking.
• Desire for success, this role is highly promotable.
• Proven ability to effectively manage a team
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/ Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Detail-oriented and analytical
