We are seeking a Manager of HR Transformation to join the Human Resources team who will be responsible for managing the transformation journey of the HR department to enhance effectiveness, improve employee experience, align HR practices and support HR’s commitment to continuous improvement.  You will be responsible for leading and implementing process redesigns and overseeing transformation projects from design to implementation. The Manager of HR Transformation plays a critical role in supporting new HR Strategic initiatives to help Seneca be market-leading while promoting and encouraging equity, diversity and inclusion in all decision making

HR Transformation

  • Lead and drive process improvement initiatives at the department level, while collaborating within the broader institutional framework
  • Identify key areas for improvement and make recommendations to implement innovation solutions
  • Utilize a structured transformation and process redesign approach and methodology to solve issues and foster an environment of continuous improvement and adaptability

Project Planning and Management

  • Oversee organizational transformation project plans and ensure they include and consider change management strategies and other transformation initiatives
  • Lead programs and projects using innovative, agile, human-centred design and continuous improvement mindset and methodologies to ensure the realize intended impact and improve the end-to-end service experience
  • Assess and measure the success of delivered outcomes and make iterative changes where necessary
  • Continuous Process Improvement

  • Evaluate program effectiveness and conduct environmental scans for continuous improvement
  • Recommend best practices and innovative solutions to enhance HR programs to provide an exceptional experience, while focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Analyze current HR processes and identify opportunities for streamlining and improving efficiency
  • Team Management

  • Establish objectives and work plans, delegating assignments to direct reports
  • Manage a team and provide training, timelines, guidance and support and coordinate personnel activities, scheduling, coaching, performance management and support professional development
  • Identify and lead opportunities to enhance employee productivity and operational processes, tools and services
  • Provide input to departmental leaders for policies / procedures, policy proposals and strategies to improve operational efficiencies

    Whether you hold a post-secondary credential such as Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or have the equivalency of 5+ years’ experience in human resources transformation planning and process re-designs, we encourage you to apply. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of driving successful organizational change and strong leadership skills. Experience with ServiceNow is a definite asset but not required.  Additionally, possessing strong business acumen, adept diplomatic relationship management, collaborative abilities, and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
