Vice President, Clinical Science

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Clinical Science to join our team and drive the clinical innovation and evidence generation of our cutting-edge healthcare AI products.

Position Overview : The Vice President, Clinical Science will be responsible for executing and helping to shape the overall clinical science aspects of the overall product roadmap in partnership with Khure leadership which includes research and management of Khure’s proprietary clinical analytics suite. The role will also include managing researchers and leading the clinical specialist team on execution with physician users of the platform. This role requires a strong operations mindset and a proven clinical or scientific background, with a particular understanding of the role advanced technology can play in improving patient care. The Vice President, Clinical Science will collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, validated clinical analytics incorporating various analytical and AI approaches to support physicians in improving patient care.

Responsibilities Include :

● Leading all aspects of the research and development activities from initiation, validation and ongoing optimization of Khure’s disease specific algorithms with Life Science partners, Academia, Clinical Research Organizations, Physician Associations and Patient Advocacy partners.

● Leading and establishing the validation of Khure’s clinical algorithms in practice prior to going live across a network of physicians.

● Literature reviews, clinical scientific research, meta-analyses on rare and specialty diseases as requiredOngoing leadership of customer presentations, interactions with Life Science leadership, Clinical and Scientific Key Opinion Leaders.

● Maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Khure’s Clinical Advisory Teams across various Clinical specialties and staying current on clinical practice guidelines related to conditions on Khure’s Clinical Decision Support platform and ensuring clinical screening criteria and associated algorithms meet current clinical guidelines.

● Leading the development and execution of Khure’s clinical evidence generation plan, including clinical research manuscript development and submission for publication, and Research Ethics Board applications.

● Support evidence-based discussions with clients and support conference presentations as needed

● Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

● MSc / PhD in clinical life sciences. MD considered an asset.

● Strong clinical research skills, organization skills and ability to work with technology

● Experience in managing a team directly and cross-functionally.

● A passion for innovation in patient care through the use of advanced technology.

● Project management experience and proven experience meeting project timelines.

● Outstanding communication skills, and clinical manuscript writing capabilities. Past evidence of authorship of publications in Clinical journals a plus.

● Bilingualism (English / French) is an asset
