Senior Project Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who is hands on, results driven and detailed oriented with experience leading infrastructure projects in a large enterprise level organization. The Project Manager will be working in a dynamic and high-paced environment, leading a team of internal and third-party resources through the activities and deliverables of the project. The project manager has overall responsibility for the successful completion of projects and will handle multiple projects concurrently.

The candidate must be versatile, potentially assigned to one or more projects within the infrastructure portfolio. The Infrastructure Project Manager manages and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, coordinates work between different teams at different locations / time zones, and monitors progress and adherence to third-party contracts.

The Project Manager will adhere to PMO processes and will work with our partners to define a project work breakdown structure, staffing needs, monitor deliverable completion, and track schedules. They are responsible for creating the project work plan and maintaining control of the project scope, estimates, schedule, costs, and dependencies.

The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will provide updates to key stakeholders and Sponsors with progress reports including risks, issues, decisions, and recommendations for adjustments, as necessary. They ensure timely communication of relevant project information to all affected team members, including changes to plans, team structure, and commitments.

This role requires strong leadership skills to guide and support a diverse team, lead through influence (including indirect reports), and ensure that the project team follows all internal processes related to Change management and Project Governance.

Required Qualifications and Experience :

• Proven experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including successful delivery of at least two full-scale infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in migrating from on-premise Windows Server environments to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
• Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including networking, server architecture, lifecycle management, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple geographical locations.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party vendors.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, and adherence to PMO governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making skills.
• The PM obtains required sign-offs for deliverables from stakeholders and ensures all expectations are met
• Take all necessary steps to avoid budget overruns
• Organize "gate" meetings to ensure readiness to move to the next project phase
• Conduct project follow-up meetings to monitor progress, issues, and risks
