Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable APIs
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to gather and implement technical requirements
Ensure API performance, scalability, and security across platforms
Troubleshoot issues and identify bottlenecks in API functionality
Document API development processes, standards, and best practices
Integrate APIs with existing applications and data systems
Implement API testing to ensure responsiveness and reliability
Ensure encryption and certificate management for API security
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Skills

68 years of experience in software development

Proficiency in Python and RESTful API development

Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including API Gateway and Lambda

Knowledge of certificate management and encryption techniques

Familiarity with Ansible for automation

Strong understanding of performance optimization and security best practices

Excellent communication and documentation skills
