Bilingual French Relocation Advisor / West Downtown Ottawa

You will be the primary point of contact for members, guiding them through every step of their relocation journey via phone, email, chat, and video calls. This involves hosting planning sessions, managing expenses (advances / claims), and maintaining meticulous client records.

The Essentials :

Location : Ottawa, ON (Onsite, at the intersection of Elgin and Laurier Ave , easily accessible by public transit. Parking is NOT provided.)

West of downtown

Mandatory Onsite Work : This is a full-time position in the office (5 days / week) and is NOT open to negotiation for telework / remote work.

Hourly Rate : $21.63 / hour

Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday (Shifts between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM,

Training : 3 weeks of paid training (8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM)

Contract Type : Full-time, temporary with strong potential for permanent transition.

Candidate must further satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for the role :

• Have status to work in Canada at the time of application
• Successfully complete the enhanced government screening process
• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass a credit check
• Pass a reliability clearance check, which requires applicants to have maintained 5 continuous years of residency in Canada at the time of application. This requirement is not dependent upon your immigration, residency, or citizenship status.

Responsibilities

What you'll do :

Provide Multichannel Support : Serve as the sole point of contact for clients, offering guidance and support through various channels like phone, email, chat, and video calls.

Host Virtual Sessions : Lead virtual planning sessions to help clients with their move, answering all inquiries and addressing complex challenges.

Manage Expenses : Handle the financial side of relocations by reviewing and processing advance requests and expense claims.

Administrative & Record Keeping : Provide administrative support and maintain accurate, detailed records of every client interaction.

Skills : You are an organized and empathetic person with excellent communication skills. You can manage multiple communication channels at once and handle sensitive information with care.

Solve Problems : Proactively manage client requests and expectations to ensure timely and effective solutions.

Qualifications

What we're looking for :

Bilingualism in French and English (both written and spoken) – essential for effectively assisting our clients.

At least 1 year of call center experience OR strong customer service experience (retail, hospitality, etc.) and administrative skills.

Attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to perform under pressure or in complex situations.

Eligibility for government security clearance : Must have lived in Canada for at least 5 years.

Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and able to navigate between various platforms efficiently.
