Data Analyst

We are currently seeking a Data Analyst for one of our clients in the insurance industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid role that combines both data engineering and Power BI development. The successful candidate will contribute to data projects using the latest technologies and support business intelligence initiatives.

What is in it for you :

Hourly salary of $43.83 to $52.20 based on experience.

12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Hybrid work : 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities :

Data Engineering (50%) : You will utilize your expertise in Python SQL and Spark to support key data engineering initiatives. This involves building and maintaining robust data pipelines optimizing data processes and ensuring the efficient flow of data across the system.

Power BI Development (50%) : You will leverage your Power BI skills to design develop and maintain interactive dashboards that provide insightful business intelligence. Your work will enable stakeholders to make informed decisions through data visualization and reporting.

What you will need to succeed :

Bachelor s degree required preferably in a technical field (e.g. computer science computer engineering)

23 years of handson experience with Power BI (data analytics reporting and visualization)

Expertise in SQL Python and Spark for data engineering

Strong understanding of database management data modeling data warehousing SQL querying and OLAP (online analytical processing)

23 years of experience in data analysis or data engineering

Solid knowledge of financial reporting concepts

Experience with Power Apps (nice to have)

Experience with Power Automate (nice to have)
