Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the following :

• Assessing and evaluating existing electrical systems.
• Leading the design of electrical building systems for renovation and new build projects.
• Collaborating with the design team and mentoring design staff to produce schematic design, design development, tender, and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.
• Overseeing the development of design concepts and ensuring proper application and execution.
• Conducting site surveys, gathering critical field data, and performing condition assessments.
• Maintaining and expanding current knowledge of technologies and trends as they apply to applicable projects and continually strengthening skills.
• Maintaining relationships with existing clients and pursuing new opportunities.
• Developing and maintaining design practices and standards for a new electrical department.
• Developing and mentoring staff within the electrical department.
