Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Risk and Compliance Management Specialist with over 10 years of expertise in establishing implementing and managing IT Risk and Compliance functions. This role involves developing comprehensive frameworks policies standards organizational structures processes and tools while integrating IT risk management seamlessly with Enterprise Risk Management strategies.

This is a 6 month contract with possible extensions up to 24 months.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Framework Development : Design implement and manage the IT Risk and Compliance Management framework processes and tools.
  • Training and Awareness : Deliver training sessions and awareness programs for IT executives leaders and business stakeholders on IT risk and compliance processes.
  • Risk Assessments : Conduct IT risk assessments with IT and business leaders ensuring risks are identified evaluated and mitigated effectively.
  • Reporting : Establish formal IT Risk and Compliance reporting processes at the company or business line level. Publish an enterprisewide IT Risk Report and present findings annually to IT executives.
  • Independent Assessments : Perform independent risk compliance and control assessments as requested by IT executives or business leaders.
  • Policy Development : Create and implement IT policies standards and controls applicable across all divisions.
  • Additional Responsibilities : Handle other business analyst duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Educational Background : Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Commerce or a related field.
  • Experience :
  • At least 10 years of experience as an IT Risk and Compliance Management Specialist.

  • A minimum of 5 years leading IT Risk and Compliance Management functions.
  • Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with IT and security frameworks such as COBIT ISO 27002 ITIL and TOGAF.
  • Skills and Attributes :

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with exceptional written communication abilities.
  • Expertise in handling highly confidential matters with integrity.
  • Advanced critical thinking decisionmaking and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Proficient in policies procedures and business impact analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills for addressing complex issues.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships across technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Adept at interacting effectively with stakeholders across all levels of technical expertise.
