  • Logistics Specialist Profile :

    Logistics Specialists must be able to handle advanced and specialized duties involved in offering premium courier services and have the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. The logistics specialist must demonstrate a sense of urgency and determination to help in critical situations. He / she must be at ease dealing with details of logistics and must be flexible to work on different shifts including days, evenings, nights, and on weekends. Logistics specialists must be customer focused, service minded problem solvers and good team players.

    Logistics Specialists Level represents our service to specific segments of customers. As such, they have increased responsibilities and scope. A take charge approach to serving these customers autonomously and with dedication is a must.

    General Knowledge and Skills Required

    o Ability to be a positive and polished representative of the organization to targeted customers.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities

    Ø Act as the main points of contact for the target customer segments.

    Ø Complex problem resolution, shipment and non-shipment related.

    Ø Addressing customer complaint and driving efforts for systemic improvements.

    Ø Stay abreast of changes in the environment of targeted customers.

    Ø Be an internal expert on the customer segment helping to guide colleagues and sales towards better

    outcomes.

    Ø Develop a trusting relationship with target customer segment.

    Ø Support customers on-site.

    Ø Accompany and assist BDM’s during their meetings with current and prospective clients

    Ø Able to provide assistance to the station Operations Manager on complex assignments which could

    include but is not limited to authoring CAPA’s, monthly checks, problem resolution responses to incident

    and customer comments.

    Ø Provide leadership support in the absence of the Customer Service / Operations Lead

    Ø Ability to be named to a Specialized team (EPL, TCS, DTP, CGT, CT etc)

    Ø Assisting in the training of new employees.

    Ø Act as a buddy and a mentor to new and developing colleagues

    Ø Everyone is responsible for following up on live jobs, even if not your order.

    Ø Assist the Training Specialist in developing new training materials and act as a subject matter expert.

    Demonstrating flexibility in work schedule, WC is a 24 hour company will require overtime, holiday

    What your background should look like

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer care coupled with a High School diploma
  • Potential for travel to a multitude of destinations worldwide.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and / or French
  • Creative problem solving
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision
  • MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
