Junior Accountant

Our client is a high growth consumer products company in the beauty and wellness space, with operations across Canada and the United States. As the business continues to scale, they are adding a Junior Accountant to the team to support expanding financial operations.

This is a hands on opportunity for someone early in their career to gain meaningful exposure to full cycle accounting, with mentorship and a clear path to taking on greater ownership within the first year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the month end close process, including preparing journal entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Gain hands on exposure to full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple accounts, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
• Review and match credit card expenses within a highly automated expense management system.
• Record and reconcile monthly sales and expenses from online and e-commerce platforms.
• Assist with bi-monthly payment runs and support cash management processes.
• Learn and support intercompany and cross-border transactions for both Canadian and US entities.
• Work within QuickBooks Online, gaining exposure to multi-currency accounting.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager to progressively take on more responsibility.

Ideal Candidate :

The compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000, dependent on experience. This is a full time permanent opportunity within a growing organization offering strong mentorship and the ability to take on full cycle accounting responsibilities within the first year.
