Manager, DtC Data Analytics
Samsung Electronics Canada is looking for a Manager, DtC Data Analytics to monitor, assess, and draw insights related to Omnichannel (eStore and SES stores) core KPIs such as Sales & Profit, Marketing performance, Site performance, and Partner operational KPIs The role reports to the Director, DtC Strategy & Planning and involves building digital reporting designs, conducting in-depth analysis to support senior executive and DtC teams.

Role and Responsibilities
DtC Data Analytics
Track and manage sales & profit performance compared to target and historical resultsDesign and develop KPIs related to eStore and SES storesDevelop a tracking tool for Site operations & omnichannel KPIs (Visits, Conversion, Bounce Rate, Average order volume, Attach rate, reserve and pick‑up, Cart Abandon rate, etc.) and analyze the results to provide insightsDevelop a tracking tool for partner related KPIs (Transaction processing, shipping lead‑time, fraud rejections, return lead‑time, etc.) and analyze the results to provide insightsWork with marketing manager to analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and provide timely feedback to implement updates / changes as neededManage BI tool developed through TableauWork with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to download performance related dataSupport developing weekly, monthly and annual revenue target by SKU along with mid‑long term e‑commerce strategyDevelop regular KPI reports for internal stakeholdersDevelop ad‑hoc reports as requiredeCommerce Digital Analytics
Measure and forecast the impact of digital engagement and product experience initiatives on the Canadian businessLeverage data and analytics to drive business insights, strategy and optimization opportunities that will generate quantitative information and insights capable of producing revenue, performance improvements, and evolving digital strategiesCreate and deliver targeted stakeholder presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations that surface key observations, learnings, and recommendationsDigital data handling and management for main digital propertiesQuery, extract and transform raw data with ETL operations from multiple data warehouses to conduct key insight and in‑depth analysis of customer, website and digital productsOversee dashboards for digital product and customer insights teams to translate complex data into actionable insightWork with IT and business stakeholders to influence decision making with dataDesign, implement and maintain web analytics solutions / products; oversee implementation of web analytics projectsProvide automated hourly forecasting dashboards to leadership teamPost mortems and analysis of key marketing events, campaign experience journey, impact of store fill changes, promo code and free ship offersTrack and share insights for web metrics analytics (visitors, bounce rate, Page views, session duration, Top traffic source, Interactions per visits, device source, Exit)Improve quantitative and qualitative analytics capture capabilities via new tools or processesRequirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, engineering or related quantitative fields preferred; or equivalent experience in the retail / consumer electronics industryKnowledge
Bilingual in English and Korean (oral and written) is an assetExpert in SQL, R, Python, C++, Excel (VBA scripting, Macro, Pivots, Data Source Management) and PowerPoint with proficiency in Online Analytical Processing, e.g., experience in Tableau or Power BIMust be proficient with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Search Console or equivalentExperience with competitive benchmarking tools such as Gartner, Similarweb or similar toolsStrong analytical skills, ability to comprehend user flow, define custom metrics to develop key hypothesis to identify opportunitiesPossess exceptional organizational & planning skills and attention to detail while having sense of curiosity & urgencyHighly developed communication & interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in the organization : from support staff to senior executives within and outside of the companySelf‑motivated and able to prioritize and work with limited supervisionStrong organizational and planning skillsProven ability to function effectively in a team environmentUnderstanding of SEO / SEM, digital advertising, e‑commerce business metrics is an assetKnowledge of CMS platforms and e‑commerce web sitesDemonstrated people management skillsStrong attention to detail and project management skillsStrong with agile process management including the development of new processesAbility to work independently, take initiative and use good judgmentWorks well under pressure and can manage multiple tasks under time constraints; sense of urgency in managing projects and likes fast‑paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills and team playerExperience
5‑7 years of hands‑on experience using search engine marketing (Google Ads), website analytics platforms (Google Analytics and other measurement suite products), and brand analysis techniques (upper funnel analysis)Overseeing the analytics framework, and a variety of analysis and insight initiativesExperience translating data insights into business insights – working with both business and technical teamsDemonstrated analytical background, and experience with marketing analytics, financial modeling, or statistical analysis, hypothesis using statistical models / frameworksExperience using SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other programming / scripting languages (R, Python, C++)Ability to analyze large datasets and translate them into actionable insightsAdvanced level proficiency with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, Javascript, with detailed knowledge of browser dependencies and cross‑platform issuesExperience in consumer electronics would be an assetSamsung is an equal employment opportunity employer.
