PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the responsibilities of the Assembly Millwright position includes reading work orders, knowledge of and installation of compression fittings, bearing components and couplings. All assembly processes must be assembled and documented in accordance with product specification and production schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
More specifically, the employee will :
- Assembly of conveyor pulley components including couplings, bearings and shaft fittings
- Disassembles and inspects components for service work and reassemble according to job traveler.
- Assist with packaging products for shipping if required
- Assists with machine maintenance if required
- Other duties assigned within relevant expectations of this role
