Responsibilities
Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts, including but not limited to cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accrued liabilities
Identify problems and errors, investigate discrepancies
Perform bank reconciliations
Prepare and maintain government remittances / deposits, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactions
Set up files, assist in the completion of budgets
Complete administrative planning and other aspects of accounting work
Prepare payments to suppliers for approval
Perform month-end and quarter-end closing process
Contribute to the development of new ideas and improve work processes
Other related tasks
Qualifications
BAC / DEC in Accounting or other relative experience
3-5 years of experience in similar role
Experience working with SAP or other ERP Systems (an Asset)
Proficient in Excel
Bilingual (an Asset)
