Financial Reporting Manager
Job Title : Financial Budgeting and Reporting ManagerLocation : Montréal QC, Toronto or OttawaPosition Type : 22 month contract, HybridCompensation : $70,000 / year + Benefits and Bonus Overview : Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance and Administration for the Productions department, the successful candidate will manage budget activities, produce necessary reports, and support projects led by the Director.
Responsibilities : Overseeing human resources.Formulating strategic recommendations for management.Ensuring budget targets are met and coordinating budgeting and reconciliation efforts.
Consolidate, analyze, and prepare financial projections and forecasts for transformation initiatives.Supervise closing entries, prepare and analyze the Consolidated Statement of Financial Position (CSFP).
Review financial / administrative procedures while undertaking special assignments.Requirements : Excellent proficiency in French.
Good knowledge of English (an asset).5 years of specialized experience in budget management.University degree in Finance or Accounting.
Recognized accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).Extensive knowledge of computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and SAP.
Advanced analytical abilities.Effective team player with skills in facilitating change.Strong communication capabilities.
Strategic thinker who can simplify complex information for non-experts and align it with organizational goals.
