Outside Sales Representative (Bilingual)

Overview

Stainless Steel Location: Quebec City/Beauce, QC

Compensation: Base Salary $75k-85K + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits.

Our client is a multi-line stainless steel distributor for the food, chemical, steel fabrication, and architectural industries for over 40 years. Their processing capabilities include plasma cutting, laser cutting, waterjet cutting, stainless steel polishing, stainless steel shearing, and saw cutting. Additionally, they offer valve automation, structural and sanitary tubing, and all engineered fluid transfer products.

With continued success and growth, North America’s premier certified stainless-steel distributor is looking for an Outside Sales Representative for the Quebec City/Beauce and surrounding area. The successful candidate must have a background in the Steel Service industry or related experience. The individual will be responsible for the growth and maintenance of sales accounts, customer relationship management, and responding to customer service issues.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas and margin requirements.
• Independently prospect new business opportunities while managing existing business.
• Develop a sales and marketing plan for the geographic territory.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision makers.
• Some overnight travel required.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in business marketing preferred, or minimum 5 years related experience.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Excellent customer service skill, consultative selling, and relationship building skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A self-starter who is results driven, professional, and a team player.
• Fluency in French and English
