About the position
Duties
Join a team that keeps Canada’s skies safe! As a Flight Operations Inspector with Transport Canada Civil Aviation in the Pacific Region, you’ll ensure the highest standards of safety across the Canadian aviation system. You’ll conduct inspections of aviation personnel and organizations, provide certification and regulatory authorizations, oversee Approved Check Pilots and Pilot Examiners, perform flight tests, certify new air operators and training units, and many more challenging but interesting tasks. Working closely with your Technical Team Lead, fellow inspectors, and internal subject experts, you’ll collaborate with accountable executives and key personnel in the aviation industry to tackle challenges and drive innovative solutions that enhance aviation safety. 👉 Civil Aviation Inspectors in the AO-CAI group are eligible to receive an extra duty allowance of $10,537.00 per year. Subject to eligibility requirements.
