The Opportunity :
Livestock is looking to add a full-time eCommerce Copywriter to our growing team. This role leads copywriting efforts across our Livestock and size?
ecommerce sites, collaborating with freelance writers and ensuring consistent, SEO-optimized content for product descriptions, blogs, and more.
It also involves developing copy style guides, conducting audits, and collaborating with other departments to maintain brand consistency.
Strong writing skills, SEO knowledge, and experience with Shopify are key.
Key Duties / Responsibilities :
- Working with Ecommerce and Creative departments to complete various copywriting assignments including product descriptions, banners, FAQs, policy pages, blogs and editorial.
- Continuously develop and improve the copy workflow to better facilitate copy and content creation.
- Own the relationship with freelance copywriters ensuring output is inline with the brief and in a timely manner.
- Schedule and complete audits of all copy channels / elements; develop and apply practical recommendations / improvements.
- Spearheading the development, implementation and improvement of cross-fascia copy style guides to maintain consistent tone of voice.
- Liaise with Merchandising and Buying departments to ensure brand and internal assets are optimized to minimize inconsistencies.
- Work with stakeholders to develop a strong SEO informed approach to copy whilst maintaining a strong brand presence. Increasing SEO share of voice.
- Proactively keep up with SEO trends, developing and implementing new trends.
- Own the content strategy from concept to execution across all fascia.
- Provide editorial leadership to the copy team, offering constructive feedback, proofreading and editing across all fascia.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge needed :
- Strong / proven writing skills
- Experience managing a team
- Open and receptive to constructive feedback
- Strong time management and organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines for product / campaign launches
- Ability to work and adapt in fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic SEO
- Experience using Shopify
