Job description

Terex Environmental Group Inc. provides environmental project management services in the areas of contaminated site assessment and management, environmental liability evaluation, and soil and groundwater remediation.

Terex currently has full-time positions available for a based in Calgary. Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the position include :

  • Planning and execution of environmental field programs for the energy sector.
  • Execution of groundwater, Phase II and remediation programs.
  • Evaluation of scientific data, and technical report preparation.
  • Project management, cost estimating and workplan development.
  • Contractor supervision while ensuring safe execution of environmental programs.
  • Mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Environmental consulting years of experience : >
  • 3 years (position duties will vary based on level of experience).

  • Degree in geology, environmental engineering, or environmental science.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with eligibility for a professional designation (P.Geol., P.Eng., P.Ag.) or as a member in training (G.I.T, E.I.T, A.Ag.).
  • Strong time management, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous fieldwork and reporting experience in Alberta.
