Rate of Pay : $34.41 - $43.01 per hour
The RAI Coordinator oversees the Continuing Care Reporting System (CCRS) RAI process within the Long-Term Care home and works closely with the Clinical Managers and inter-professional team. The Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining processes to ensure complete and accurate capture of RAI data in compliance with Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) standards; provides training and mentoring to staff and facilitates quality improvement initiatives within the home.
Qualifications :
Education / Experience :
- Regulated Health Professional with current registration with an Ontario College
- Recent experience (minimum 3 years) in healthcare setting (long-term care preferred)
- Experience in the use of CCRS RAI or similar tools would be an asset
Skills / Abilities :
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and emailDemonstrated comfort working in a computerized environment with an interest in the use of technology in the documentation of resident careDemonstrated leadership and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
