Job Overview
The Data Center Sites Technician III will be responsible for day-to-day data center support activities, including but not limited to : server and network hardware installation, copper / fiber cabling, Layer 1 troubleshooting, IT asset management, network hardware and CLI troubleshooting, and Linux server-related tasks. The Site III Technician should be conversant in common networking hardware CLIs (Cisco, Arista, Dell, Juniper) and skilled in using and navigating different Linux distributions. The role involves monitoring and responding to hardware and software issues, utilizing standard ticketing systems, and providing clear, timely customer communications. Activities are governed by SOPs, program requirements, safety and security policies, and on-call rotation for after-hours support. The technician participates in the change management process, including monitoring production and performing preventative maintenance.
