Major Duties

Our Nuclear Services team lives at the intersection of advanced engineering, real world problem solving, and some of the most complex environments in industry. We don’t just design tooling and hand it off—we follow it through its entire lifecycle, from early development to on site execution inside operating nuclear facilities, and then back again to make it better the next time around.

What makes this team unique is the depth of ownership we have over our work. Team members are involved in designing, commissioning, deploying, troubleshooting, and improving specialized nuclear tooling used for inspection, maintenance, and refurbishment. That means the lessons you learn on site don’t get lost, they directly shape the next generation of tools and processes.

This is a team for people who enjoy hands on technical challenges, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to see the tangible impact of their work. Our work is highly collaborative. Nuclear Services acts as the bridge between engineering, operations, and our nuclear customers, providing trusted expertise when it matters most. Because nuclear projects are often outage based and time critical, our team plays a key role in ensuring tooling is reliable, well maintained, and ready to perform when the window is tight.

As a Nuclear Service Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating nuclear site onboarding, ongoing tracking and maintenance of site credentials for service staff, tracking and communication of ATS technical training delivery, and assisting with general nuclear service project coordination tasks.

Specific Responsibilities

Site Onboarding:
⦁ Provide support for Nuclear Service team members completing security clearance applications, including reviewing submissions for accuracy and completeness prior to final submission.
⦁ Maintain an up‑to‑date tracking matrix of site training credentials and communicate upcoming requalification requirements to team members. Coordinate with customer teams to schedule required training courses for ATS personnel.
Site Shift Schedules:
⦁ Develop and maintain site shift schedules for ATS staff at nuclear customer sites.
⦁ Respond to vacation requests and unplanned absences, assist with coordinating backup resources and updating schedules accordingly
⦁ Attend customer scheduling and resourcing meetings to perform forward-looking schedule reviews, communicate results to ATS leadership for support in meeting new staffing requests and improving resource capacity for critical periods
⦁ Review of weather forecasts, planning and communication with site teams to ensure minimum compliment of staff can remain onsite during weather events.
Project Coordination:
⦁ Plan and coordinate travel arrangements for new Nuclear Service team members traveling to nuclear sites.
⦁ Maintain internal and customer forecast files to reflect financial accuracy and keep projects aligned with budget expectations.
⦁ Support preparation of monthly invoicing files.
⦁ Prepare and update presentations, reports, and spreadsheets as required.
⦁ Support Project teams in the preparation and launch of new projects, including arranging meetings and initiating SharePoint project sites.
⦁ Assist Project teams with project‑related documentation, ensuring alignment with departmental processes and procedures.
⦁ Support Spare Parts project execution, including coordinating the shipping and receiving of parts and organizing part kits.
⦁ Other project execution needs as required.
Training Coordination:
⦁ Maintain, execute, and enhance existing training procedures, ensuring they support production schedules while meeting all training requirements.
⦁ Schedule training classes based on equipment availability and customer needs.
⦁ Assist in the development and refinement of technical curriculum.
⦁ Support training programs for ATS customers covering equipment installation, programming, safety, maintenance, and repair of custom machinery and equipment.
⦁ Collaborate with management, internal ATS resources, and customers to define and align training objectives.
General Duties:
⦁ Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
⦁ Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures.
