What to expect The ideal candidate for Vice President of Finance will provide overall leadership for financial function. That person will also have experience in a similar position in a fast-paced company, and a demonstrated ability to manage priorities, be highly innovative and an efficient strategic problem solver.

Leading the finance, accounting and payroll team Overseeing the finance function for the Longbow Group (including but not limiting): Treasury, Financing, capital structure; FP&A Taxes Managing relationships with accounting firms for annual audits and all tax preparation and filings for the group.
Producing financial reporting for executive, auditors, lenders, investors, government agencies Keeping informed of regulatory and reporting requirements, and interacting with accounting, auditing, tax, governmental and other external stakeholders Defining and driving controls, policies and procedures designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and to foster a sense of financial discipline across the organization Helping the leadership team with financial plans to reduce costs and maximize revenu Participating in strategic planning, as well as providing insights to the leadership team for decisions that could affect financial risks Timely and accurate reporting to enable business decisions, anticipate and proactively address business and financial challenges.
Experience 5 to 7 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
Experience working in both US and Canadian financial and regulatory environments.
Exposure to companies of similar scale, ideally 100 to 150 employees.
Progressive experience in technology and supply chain and/or a similarly complex environment/sector Undergraduate degree in finance/economics with a CPA accounting designation Solid knowledge of the accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE) Good understanding of payroll and corporate taxes and regulations in Canada, the USA and in the UK Experience with an ERP (ideally Netsuite) and high proficient in Excel Experience in multi-companies, multi-currencies & multi-countries organization Experience in a fast-paced environment like start-ups Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in both French & English Outstanding at prioritizing and you are result driven You love technology, innovation & you are a team player Ability to handle data with high level of confidentiality You are open to thoughts and ideas which are different from your own You can be very hands-on if needed, but you are also good to coach, support and delegate Why Join Longbow?
