& SummaryA career in Resourcing and Deployment, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to work in cross line of service staffing helping our network be even more agile in the ever evolving markets we work with, providing the right people on the right projects at the right time. You’ll focus on ensuring that resources of suitable skills and calibre are available for tasks and activities as required as well as managing the education, planning, and skills enhancement associated with resources.

As a team, we maximise resource sharing and enable the delivery of PwC to our clients through line of service and cross line of service staffing, forecasting, utilisation, and workload balance while considering development and diversity initiatives.

As a Resourcing and Deployment Manager,you’llwork as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Strategically plan and oversee the allocation of Client Service Staff (CSS) toensure;alignment with firm’s strategic priorities, achievement of business metrics, and resolving unassigned clients and reallocations for new CSS joiners/leavers

• Utilize continuous planning and scheduling to meet firmutilizationtargets, with a primary focus on staffleverageand peak season metrics

• Gather information on staff career goals, strengths, and areas of opportunities to effectively match the right staff with the right client engagements.

• Collaborate and team with RM professionalsto;share best practices, continuously improve processes,facilitatestaff borrowing/lending and secondments, andparticipatein team initiatives for technology enhancements that drive operational improvement.

• Build strong relationships within the line of service toestablishoneself as a trusted advisor while also promoting and focusing on resource sharing across regional counterparts.

• AnalyzeResource Management KPI’sthrough reviewingreports anddevelopactionable plans for workload balancing,utilizationimprovements,and capacity management to match strategic goals

• Developexpertisein RM technology, particularlyTalentLinkStaffing & Deployment, to support assignment planning, allocations, forecasting, and reporting, and deliver training on allTalentLinkmodules to staff, while focusing on technological enhancements and the development of new tools for continuous improvement

Experiences and skillsyou’lluse to solve

• Solid understanding of Resource Management, including forecasting, strategic planning, and how these elements connect to overarching business strategy.

• Proficiencyin data analysis and storytelling through data; with the capability of interpreting findings toprovideactionable insights

• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with a proventrack recordto negotiate and influence effectively in high-stress situations whilemaintainingcomposure and empathy; consult with others, build relationships,facilitategroup discussions, and execute on change management activities

• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and exercise excellent judgment without oversight.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a clear understanding of the business impacts of resourcing decisions.

• Aptitude for addressing and de-escalating client concerns independently,maintainingprofessionalism in all interactions.

• Ability to manage ambiguity and complex projects, think strategically, anddemonstrateagility under tight deadlines.

• Experienced in setting priorities, meeting, and exceeding deadlines whilemaintaininga high levelof integrity and confidentiality.

• Proventrack recordof effective change management execution and the ability to deal confidently with partners and staff at all levels.

The salary range for this position is $81,900 - $131,900. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
