Bannister Automotive Group is hiring a Data Analytics Strategist to own group wide data and reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across key sources including web data, ad performance, leads, sales, trade ins, service, parts, and other business critical reporting. This role combines hands on technical capability in data integration, tracking, APIs, and dashboarding with marketing strategy, turning complex data into clear insights that improve content, advertising performance, and measurable outcomes across the group.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own group wide KPI definitions and data standards so reporting is consistent across rooftops and channels.
- Maintain data quality through regular audits, QA checks, documentation, and issue resolution to ensure stakeholders can trust the numbers.
- Maintain appropriate access controls and responsible handling of sensitive business data.
- Work with APIs, raw data, data feeds, exports, and platform connectors to integrate key systems such as CRMs, website analytics, call tracking, lead sources, and advertising platforms.
- Implement and maintain tracking frameworks including conversion tracking, event tracking, tagging standards, and UTM governance to support accurate attribution and analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners when technical changes are required to maintain clean and reliable tracking.
- Analyze marketing performance across platforms such as Google and Meta, connecting campaign results to lead quality and downstream business outcomes, not just clicks and CPL.
- Advise our content department and ads department on what to create, what to promote, and what to test next based on demographics, customer behaviours, and performance patterns.
- Build and maintain dashboards that consolidate performance across the full funnel, presenting information in an easy to digest format for key stakeholders across the group.
- Create clear recurring reporting that highlights what is working, what is not, and what actions should be taken to improve results.
- Support a test and learn culture by tracking experiments and documenting learnings so decisions improve over time.
Qualifications :
Relevant schooling or degree in a related field such as analytics, statistics, marketing analytics, business intelligence, computer science, or similar.5+ years of experience in analytics, marketing operations, BI reporting, or performance marketing.Strong working knowledge of data integration, tracking, APIs, and dashboarding.Experience working with data sources such as CRMs, website analytics, call tracking, lead sources, and advertising platforms.Automotive industry experience is considered an asset.Additional Requirements :
Hybrid schedule, in office 3 days per week.Ability to manage multiple priorities across many rooftops and stakeholders.Comfort working with sensitive business data and maintaining appropriate confidentiality and access discipline.
