Description
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Intelligence Analyst, the Marketing Intelligence Analyst will be embedded in our Marketing team, performing in-depth exploration and analysis of marketing data to provide ancillary support to continuous improvement, performance management and other analytical initiatives through historical data analysis, performance metrics reporting, forecasting, and data capture with the goal of driving our marketing strategy and optimizing performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track vital marketing KPIs
- Support the Senior Marketing Intelligence Analyst with in-depth monthly and quarterly reports detailing marketing performance for upper management and business partners
- Support internal teams with data extraction requirements via database SQL queries
- Collaborate with the IT Business Intelligence team to ensure all major data related projects are completed optimally
- Develop and maintain all Google Tag Manager tags and triggers and related events to ensure all marketing campaigns and website traffic is tracked optimally
- Diagnose and alert management to major operational issues (i.e. adverse changes in sales, data inconsistencies, data pipeline failures)
- Perform various ad hoc analyses and provide key performance indicators to support, advise and respond to requests from management
- Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in analytics
- Proficient with MS Excel and SQL
- Experience with PowerBI or similar BI Tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and / or other web analytics and data capture tools
- Creative problem-solving skills with a passion for uncovering strategic opportunities and solving business problems.
- Ability to clearly translate technical subjects to a non-technical audience and vice versa
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast moving, remote work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
