Under the supervision of the Retail Unit Controller, the Billing Clerk is responsible for customer invoicing and the creation of billable projects.

This position is 100% telecommuting

Responsibilities :

Creates billable projects and sales orders in the accounting system after a sale has been made;

Conducts all customer invoicing;

Tracks customer billing milestones on billing projects;

Conducts follow-ups as needed and communicates with clients;

Works in collaboration with the controller

Works in collaboration with the Finance team of his / her business unit;

Works in collaboration with the business unit's operations department to optimize exchanges and create billable projects in an effective and efficient way for all;

Works in collaboration with the collection department to optimize the unit's accounts receivable

Files processed documents;

Provides month-end and year-end support;

Performs any other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements :

Technical college education (finance / accounting option) or a combination of education and relevant experience;

2 to 3 years of relevant experience (asset);

Knowledge of spreadsheets, especially Excel;

General knowledge of accounting software, client modules, invoicing and project (asset);

Experience with integrated ERP software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics D365 (asset);

The ability to work in a multi-tasking and pressured environment;

The ability to work as part of a team and independently;

A good command of French and English is required as the incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in both languages, both orally and in writing. We have colleagues, clients and partners in Quebec, as well as in the rest of Canada and the United States.
