Our iconic retail client is seeking a talented and experienced Email / Digital Designer to join our team on a remote basis for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing visual designs for email campaigns, including stakeholder revisions, and exporting and delivering final assets. You will work closely with the lead email designer and email specialist to produce an average of 14 emails per week, adhering to established brand guidelines, templates, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create and execute visual design for email campaigns, including building out French assets and exporting final assets.
  • Work closely with the lead email designer and email specialist to produce an average of 14 emails per week.
  • Follow established brand guidelines, templates, and timelines to create email collateral related to seasonal marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Prepare files using Adobe programs (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Follow processes and workback schedules to ensure an efficient workflow for content production.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Edit photography as needed.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design or a visual-related industry with a strong design portfolio in online channels.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe programs, including but not limited to XD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects. This includes photo retouching, file optimization, and preparing files for print.
  • Ability to work and maintain brand standards and design guidelines.
  • Ability to image source.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, self-manage time, and work effectively in a high-activity work environment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow a regimented workflow.
  • Solid comprehension of user interface design and information architecture.
  • Knowledge of website, email, UX, and UI design is an asset.
  • Knowledge of animation and motion design is an asset.
  • Ability to work and stay connected in a remote / virtual setting.
  • Bilingual or the ability to read French is an asset.

    The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $30 to $31 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
