Build Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Build Engineer passionate about automation and game development to join our Central Tech team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing build pipelines, deploying scalable infrastructure, and streamlining workflows for large-scale multiplayer games.

This is a full-time, in-office position requiring 5 days per week in in a centrally located office, near Skytrain and many shops and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain build pipelines and tools for Unreal Engine-based games.
• Implement scalable infrastructure for efficient content delivery across platforms.
• Champion automation to optimize build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with game teams to improve workflows and uphold quality standards.
• Configure testing frameworks and support development in LiveOps settings.
• Document processes and implement best practices for automated testing.

Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins and managing Unreal Engine build pipelines.
• Proficiency with Perforce, scripting languages (Python, Powershell, batch, etc.), and automation tools.
• Knowledge of automated testing methodologies and build architecture.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
