Role Overview
Our client is seeking highly motivated Internists and Cardiologists to join a high-volume, efficient clinical environment. This role is designed for physicians who thrive in a "pay-for-service" model with exceptionally low overhead, allowing for compensation that is highly competitive with top-tier hospital positions.
Clinical Responsibilities & Skills
- Consultations: Conduct specialized consultations focusing primarily on Cardiology and Metabolic Disease.
- Diagnostic Interpretation: * Expertise in ECG interpretation.
- Expertise in Stress Test interpretation.
- (For Cardiologists) Comprehensive interpretation of advanced cardiac testing.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide oversight and supervision for stress testing and related clinical procedures.
- High-Volume Proficiency: Ability to manage a robust patient load, with a target performance threshold of 4,000 patient visits/consults per year (averaging ~20 appointments per day).
Qualifications & Regulatory Requirements
- Licensure: Must possess (or be eligible for) a CPSO (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) billing number and be in good standing.
- Certification: * Must be Royal College ready or already Royal College approved.
- Specialization in Internal Medicine (preferred) or Cardiology.
- Training Background: We are specifically looking for doctors trained in:
- Canada (completed residency).
- United States (US grads looking to return to Canada).
- United Kingdom or Quebec.
- IMG Requirements: Canadian International Medical Graduates (IMGs) from the Caribbean are welcome, provided they qualify for supervision via Pathway 4 or similar residency-equivalent tools.
Compensation & Performance
- Earning Potential: $400,000+ per year (based on 4,000 annual consults).
