Summary
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and versatile domestic couple to ensure the upkeep, interior and exterior maintenance, and overall management of private family residences located in Victoriaville.
The selected couple will work closely together to maintain a clean, organized, functional, and comfortable living environment that meets the principals’ high standards. The two roles are complementary and require strong teamwork, discretion, and a high level of autonomy.
1. Housekeeper / House Manager
Position Description
The Housekeeper is responsible for the general upkeep and organization of the family’s private residences, ensuring cleanliness, order, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full housekeeping duties in private residences (routine cleaning, dusting, floor care, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, etc.).
- Manage laundry and ironing.
- Handle basic household purchases (groceries, cleaning products, miscellaneous supplies).
- Prepare simple meals as required by the family.
- Organize storage areas, manage seasonal rotation of furniture, and assist with décor installation.
- Use basic computer tools to manage schedules and tasks.
- Maintain an activity log of completed tasks.
- Keep an up-to-date vendor log (contact details, service history, follow-ups).
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a housekeeper or in private residence maintenance.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.High level of discretion, reliability, and professionalism.Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with their partner.2. Handyman / Maintenance Person
Position Description
The Handyman is responsible for the general maintenance of the residences, including interior and exterior upkeep, as well as coordinating work and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of the family’s private residences.Perform interior and exterior maintenance (minor repairs such as painting, staining, lawn care, pool and spa maintenance, furniture assembly, minor renovations, etc.).Carry out minor plumbing and electrical repairs (not requiring certification).Coordinate and supervise external service providers (HVAC technicians, landscapers, contractors, etc.).Ensure proper procurement of materials and equipment required for maintenance work.Schedule service calls and follow up on completed work.Operate a variety of manual, electric, and motorized tools (e.g., small tractor).Candidate Profile
Relevant training or experience in maintenance, facilities management, planning, or work coordination.Excellent organizational and priority-management skills.Strong hands-on skills and comfort using a wide range of tools and equipment.Good physical condition.Versatile, resourceful, and proactive individual.General Conditions & Benefits
