CAD Designer Highways and Roads

AECOM  is currently seeking a  CAD Designer - Highways and Roads  based in our Sudbury ON  Canada office.

This is a full-time role expected to begin as soon as possible .

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :

• Design and draft highway rehabilitation projects using 2D AutoCAD software.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings including plans profiles cross-sections geometrics drainage utilities signing pavement markings detours and construction staging.
• Prepare design quantities and cost estimates and provide technical support during tendering and construction.
• Undertake design tasks under the supervision of a project manager or senior team member.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers environmental planners technologists and administrative staff.
• Monitor project plans and schedules.
• Participate in meetings with internal staff subconsultants and clients.
• Document meeting decisions and follow up on action items.
• Contribute to technical reports and studies.
• Collect and analyze data.
• Commit to self-development and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

Must have completed a Civil Engineering Technician or Technology Diploma.
