ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for :
- Prepare monthly financial statements for 3 to 4 different entities.
- Reconcile complex G / L accounts and prepare HST / GST and PST returns.
- Record month end journal entries, prepare bank / credit card, AP / AR reconciliations and working papers.
- Review semi-monthly payroll and sales commission calculations
- Maintain income statement schedules and monthly client invoices.
- Prepare cashflow analysis, monthly budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Guide and assist junior accountants and maintain internal controls.
- Prepare ad- hoc reports and work on year-end audits
