About the role

To assist in providing a quality service of bulk explosive delivery to customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner at all times. To operate plant and equipment providing the delivery of blasting products and services to our customer sites. This Role will be on a 7 / 7 rotation day shift only but could be subject to change. The project sits within the Sudbury city limits and is an open pit project , a valid DZ driver’s license is required.

Work Rotation Schedule : 7 days on / 7 days off (12 hrs. day shift)

What you will bring

  • Must possess a DZ driver’s license
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to quickly determine potential issues and problem solve accordingly.
  • Requires thorough and meticulous completion of regulatory paperwork
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Flexible to fast changes as needed during production process.
  • Entry level computer skills including Internet and Windows applications.
  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods
  • Heavy industry preferably mining experience
