Randstad is seeking a skilled and experienced Miller to join a growing mustard mill in Bow Island, Alberta. This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialized role within a family-oriented, privately owned company experiencing significant expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in milling and be grain, flour, or mustard handling.

Salary : $30-$37 / hour

Responsibilities
Ensuring timely production with adherence to quality and food safety standards.
Collaborating with mill staff on product quality, consistency, and yield monitoring.
Overseeing raw material handling.
Improving mill efficiencies through communication and troubleshooting.
Adhering to health and safety regulations.
Liaising with production, transportation, and maintenance teams.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment (SQF and Food Safety procedures).
Ensuring accurate lot numbers, weights, and tanker information for traceability.
Organizing and maintaining flour sieves and milling consumable parts.
Assisting with downtime tasks, such as cleaning and maintenance.
Running the entire mill operation
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of milling experience.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Mustard milling certification preferred, but experience with other grains is acceptable.
Ability to work with allergens (mustard and wheat flour).
Familiarity with roll stands, pin wheels, and shifters.
