Payroll Officer (Keswick)

Location : Keswick (Hybrid mix of office & work from home)

Remuneration : $102600 inclusive of super

About the role : Due to internal movements and several new business projects Aurizon is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. These roles play an important part in ensuring timely accurate and compliant payroll services that support our workforce across Australia.

Youll join a collaborative and experienced team that underpins the employee experience delivering high-quality service maintaining data integrity and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end payroll administrative services ensuring accurate processing and payment of employee entitlements.
• Maintain employee records process manual timesheets and assist with travel expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with payroll procedures agreements and legislation.
• Provide clear customer-focused advice on payroll and entitlements.
• Contribute to process improvements and the ongoing review of payroll practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and efficient payroll service.
