Summary of position :

Usually carries out disassembly, cleaning and preparation of parts using mechanized devices, sand jets, glass or plastic beads and / or handles parts manually.

Main responsibilities :

Performs dismantling operations on depressurized landing gear components (excluding power steering types).

Following a summary visual assessment, accepts or rejects the parts for subsequent operations on the cleaning line.

Adjusts his machine, prepares the parts (masking, etc.), handles them, fills and empties the machines and cleans parts without direct supervision.

Cleans parts and corrects visible defects such as scratches, chipping, corrosion, sharp edges, etc. by deburring, polishing and / or using a stone grinding machine.

Performs simple operations on medium to high value parts, with wide to precise tolerances such as major landing gear parts, foundry parts, etc. - Reads and interprets instructions.

Occasionally trains and / or guides other employees in their classification in carrying out their tasks.

Responsible for the quality and quantity of his work. Reports to his superior any anomaly concerning his work or safety.

Keeps his workstation clean and in good order and performs preventative maintenance on equipment.

Carry out any other similar task entrusted by the immediate superior.

Qualifications :

Secondary course or less.

Certain level of analysis and judgment required.
