Required Qualifications :
Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Ability / Skills / Knowledge :

Responsibilities :
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate medication provision for patients.
- Perform clerical duties, including preparing and reconciling third-party billings, chemotherapy billing, invoices, memos, and maintaining drug information files.
- Manage drug distribution systems by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring proper inventory control, including narcotics and controlled substances.
- Ensure medication safety through tasks such as stock rotation, expiry date monitoring, and destruction of expired or unused medications.
- Participate in continuing professional development, quality assurance, and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with team members and clients in a positive manner.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage high volume workload.
Assets : - Bilingual
- Excellent attendance record (records will be reviewed)
- Experience in Meditech software applications
- Practical pharmacy experience (hospital setting preferred)
