About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Buyer is responsible for procurement activities in a centralized service including inventory, non‑inventory goods and services. Assists with supply / service contract management for facilities and agencies as directed by the Procurement Manager according to established procurement policies.

A skill test will be included as part of the selection process.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following :

• Grade 12 or equivalent required
• Two (2) year post‑secondary program in Business or equivalent required
• Two (2) or more years of experience in a supply chain environment setting
• SCMA Certificate or an acceptable combination of education and experience would be considered an asset
• Advanced working knowledge and proficiency with a variety of computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Working knowledge of SAP operating system preferred
• Ability to work in a self‑directed environment and also effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Willingness to learn new computer programming
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
