Form Fill Operator - A Shift (11 : 00pm to 7 : 00am)

Major Responsibilities :

• Set up and operates machines and equipment as per setup sheet and operates PLC controls.
• Always adheres to Safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with all product safety, legality and quality requirements.
• Always follows setup sheet procedures and standards.
• Clean, Wash and changeover lines as required.
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment if problem arise.
• Repetitive lifting and stacking boxes up to 25 Kgs.
• Loads pallets with finished product and moves skid to staging area.
• Size pouches for new customer and special projects.
• Carries out duties according to procedures and work instructions covering the tasks relating to the position’s function as outlined in the department’s quality manual, in accordance with Griffith Management System requirements.
• Locates, weighs, counts and combines ingredients according to manufacturing formulae and production worksheets.
• Ensures all Pouches are sealed, packaged, loaded, sorted and inventoried correctly.
• Ensures all CCP checks are done at the required frequency and fills out HACCP sheet legibly & accurately.
• Understands and follows all security, HACCP, GMP, and BRC policies and procedures.
• Completes necessary paperwork and labels for packaging, ensuring correct information is noted as per the departmental requirements.
• Trouble shoots equipment and resolves set up issues to reduce downtime.
• Tracks all downtime and collaborates with maintenance crew to reduce downtime.
• Enters production information on timely manner Do all the Packaging materials issuing on ERP systems.
• Meet the set line speed and efficiency targets.
• Code Downtime and completes food safety, and quality checks on Redzone.
• Ensure line and area is cleared and cleaned and always keeps work area sanitary and safe.
• Participates in root cause analysis of customer complaints and NCRs.
• Participates in Lean manufacturing projects, Kaizen events, other duties or tasks that may be assigned as required.
• Reduce waste in all processes assigned.
• Solves minor packaging issues as per order requirements.
• Verifies own work as follows :
• Material matches description on travel card / order copy.Packaging and labels are as specified.Pallet patterns are specified / follow SID.
• Checks that all weights are correct.
• Checks that final pallet is assembled correctly.
• Checks / Operate forklift, Walkie, or Hand pallet as required.
• Performs other related duties as required.
