Project Coordinator

The Opportunity

ZE Power Engineering is an innovative industry leading company that provides engineering services to the electric utility industry. We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator who would be responsible for controlling project budgets, coordinating project deliverables with the engineering team, and applying techniques to forecast project expenses to avoid project overspend.

The successful candidate will be able to take ownership of the assigned projects and ensure the deliverables are on schedule and the project is on budget.

Responsibilities

• Set up project details in Unanet and SharePoint, including budgets, team assignments, and activities.
• Develop project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Create and review budgeted hours, activity lists, and deliverable timelines in Excel with the Project Manager before project launch.
• Support the coordination of project tasks and ensure progress aligns with schedule and budget targets.
• Setup, organize and participate in internal team meetings and client meetings.
• Contribute to the development of project proposals and budgets.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for Engineering and the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Follow up with stakeholders on project status and permits
• Submit project deliverables via SharePoint or external project portals.
• Draft and issue change notices and project status reports for both management and clients.
• Validate subcontractor payments, resolve accounts payable issues, and prepare billing corrections for the Accounting Department.
• Maintain and organize project documentation to support accurate internal and external audits
