Position: Personal Support Worker Day School Classroom Teacher and Placement Coordinator

Locations:
- Port Perry: September 2, 2025 - June 26, 2026
- Beaverton: New Site Starting January 30, 2026 - June 26, 2026
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day (classes depend on student registration)
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
- Certificate of Qualification/Interim Certificate of Qualification (must be in good standing) from the Ontario College of Teachers
Desired:
- Adult and Continuing Education Experience
- Senior Basic Qualifications, Tech Qualifications
- Experience teaching on Desire2Learn (D2L) platform, as the course is run on D2L with adult students attending in person, online, and/or asynchronously
The successful applicant should have teaching experience in the subject area(s) or be deemed capable as per the OECTA Secondary Agreement.
Job Description
- Delivery of PSW programs in a hybrid format, with some days in person and others online (synchronously and asynchronously)

- Depending on qualifications, clinical supervision of students in Long-term Care placement may be required
