Cascadia Metals is currently accepting resumes for an entry level warehouse associate to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position at our Saskatoon Branch.

Responsibilities :

  • Loading trucks from small customer pick-ups to full B-train trailers
  • Unloading trucks with coil, sheet and site supplies
  • Building Order
  • Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard
  • Organizing and sorting material for loading and space optimization
  • Scanning loads with an RF scanner
  • Shipping / Receiving
  • Reading paperwork to ensure the accuracy of the load
  • Keeping track of daily used materials
  • Maintaining a team player atmosphere
  • Other duties as required

Requirements :

  • Must have 1 year of warehousing / shipping-receiving experience
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Steel handling experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Applicants must have steel toed boots
  • Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team
  • Have a valid Forklift license (Preferred)

  • Strong Decision making and problem- solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
